Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay said he planned to drug-test
every new member of staff starting work at one of his
The move follows the death last month of David Dempsey, head

In an interview with Observer Food Monthly, Ramsay said he was
"very close" to Dempsey, describing his death as "a waste of
talent and energy".
"What he's supposed to have done was horrific," said Ramsay.
"We will try to come to terms with what's happened to David
and we're going to emphasise our zero tolerance on drugs," he
told the magazine.
"In future, I'd like every new member of staff to give a urine
sample so we can see any substances they've taken in the last
