What is it with Darrell Russell?
Since he has tested positive for drugs, he's been a force.
Sources close to the Raiders say that Russell's recent
substance abuse problems have really woken him up. After
slipping into obscurity through two straight years of average
football, the former first-round selection has been giving
great effort and maximizing his potential in the wake of his
most recent positive drug test. Many in Oakland feel that
Russell, who is said to be a great kid, has reassessed his
situation and career since his recent slip-up.
