Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart Arrested for Possession, Trafficking |
9/7/2010 |
Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart wasn't supposed to go down like this. A former WWE tag team champion as a member of "The Hart Foundation" with his partner (and brother-in-law!) Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Neidhart -- if the world were just -- wouldn't have been spending 2010 driving a Pontiac Sunfire and peddling Oxycontin. But that's just where he was on Sunday afternoon -- hanging around Thonotosassa, Florida, pumping gas and pounding pills. Apparently, according to Tampa Bay Online (via Game On!), Neidhart was sitting there, filling up his Sunfire when he "began yelling and causing a disturbance." He was then seen "opening pill bottles located in the trunk" of his ride and eventually observed "ingesting multiple pills that he dropped on the ground while inside the trunk of his vehicle." Eventually the cops came (duh -- that happens when you start screaming and throwing down Oxycontin in the middle of a fill-up) and found that he had 55.6 grams of Oxycontin and 17.4 grams of methadone, all of which had the name "Mary Cutillo" on them. Not-so-coincidentally, Miss Cutillo's house had recently been robbed. Good news though, is that they're supposedly friends (who needs enemies, right?) and the pills are only valued at $300. Bad news time: that's probably a lot less than the bail The Anvil will have to pay for charges that include possession of a controlled substance, trafficking of a controlled substance, and burglary. |
