| Weed is illegal for the same reason that our Government is so corrupted. It's all about how many digits are on that paycheck that 20 certain people in the country recieve. Our own government not only illegalized a perfectly natural and harmful herb for the sake of a few companies profits, but now they're handing us the bill. Think of all of the tax dollars that are spent on arresting, convicting, and ""rehabilitating"" marijuana drug offenders. The government is supposed to be ""of the people, by the people, for the people,"" so it's there to protect our way of life from other citizens and other countries. But by illegalizing marijuana, the government changed our way of life for no justifiable reason. I have never heard of a person threatening, hurting, or even bothering another person because they were on weed, but still it's illegal for some reason. It's rediculous that our government is allowed to go against it's own Decleration of Independence* and it's own Constitution*, just for the sake of money. *both of which, btw, were written on Hemp paper. 03/25/2002 |
