| I just got out of jail for possesion of marijuana, getting arrested for that is the stupidest thing i have witnessed. I know it is illegal but i am totally unaware of why. No matter how you put it there is really no reason why marijuana shouldn't be legal. When your 18 you can go to another country and commit murder. But smoke a blunt to get relaxed and you are now a criminal. Marijuana is far worse than alcohol and tobacco. I myself am a tobacco user but i smoke just because marijuana is not legal. I do not drink because i get very aggresive like a lot of other people i know. But when i smoke a joint or blunt i do not bother anybody. I just sit in my house, listen to music and smoke a ciggarete. Now i do agree that all hardcore drugs that are possible to overdose of should be kept illegal. But marijuana is not harmful at all. If it has age restriction i do not see why it should be banned. Why mark someone as a criminal for something so meaningless. The government is messing up people's lives and records for something that is not even as bad as smoking a ciggarete. Millions of people die from ciggaretes and alcohol, but there has never been a case of someone dieing from marijuana. If god put this plant on this earth then it was meant for humans and animals to consume, and i dont see why we should go against something unharmful, pleasent and natural. Millions and billions of humans worldwide smoke marijuana and that is not going to change. So the government should do what a whole bunch of other governments have done and just simply legalize marijuana!! 03/04/2002 |
